To become ISO/IEC 27001:2013 compliant, COL underwent an evaluation process that included quality management system development, a management system documentation review pre-audit and assessment.

CITY ONLINE SETS UP MICROWAVE LINK TO ISB FOR WHITE HOUSE PRESS CORPS
The visit of President George W Bush to Indian School of Business has given an opportunity for City Online to show its technical and operational prowess.
City Online has been contracted by the White House to give wireless internet connectivity at the ISB for the White House Press Corps accompanying President Bush. The challenge was to bring bandwidth into the ISB campus through Microwave link through a very tough terrain.
The survey of the terrain, identifying the locations for repeaters, permissions to set up the repeaters, setting up antennae and equipment, and finally testing and handing over the WiFi network to the American Embassy officials were done in a record 48 hrs.
The press corps used this network to file their reports to their respective newspapers and was able to send data, voice as well as video. The press corps was also using City Online network at Hotel Fortune Katriya where they are staying.
Once again City Online has proved its capability in providing entire solution of providing last mile connectivity along with reliable bandwidth for critical and prestigious projects.

1st MARCH, 2006
City Online has executed another wireless internet project in Hotel Fortune Katriya. As the competition becomes severe in the hotel industry, Fortune Katriya wanted to give its guests free wireless internet connectivity. City Online has executed the project in two weeks and handed over the network to the Hotel Fortune Katriya. The network was also used extensively by the White House Press Corps who have camped at the hotel during the visit of President George W Bush. |

8th & 9th FEBRUARY, 2006
City Online once again proves its ability in WiFi solutions. COL was the official sponsor for Internet for ISA Vision Summit at Leela Kempinski, Banglaore. The ISA Vision Summit was during 8th & 9th Feb,2006, and COL set up temporary WiFi network covering the entire conference area.
City Online has once again proved its capability in establishing WiFi networks and providing reliable bandwidth to back it. |

7th JANUARY, 2006
City Online sponsored the wireless internet facility at VLSI2006 conference during the entire week of the conference. There were about 1000 delegates during the week at the conference and WiFi facility was made available in the conference area covering most of Hotel Taj Krishna.
City Online also set up a temporary wireless link to the picturesque Shilpa Kala Vedika, for web casting the inaugural ceremony of the VLSI2006 conference. |

COL has tied up TRICAD to host E-commerce based Portals regarding the Information about geography of the country. These Portals host the complete digitized Maps of the State which will be useful for Agriculture, Mining, Tourism etc. These Portals also help in city planning, water and sewerage management of the cities. TRICAD is a Hyderabad based company which specializes in Geographical Information System, CAD/CAM Digitization of geographical Maps. This enables E-Governance on web-based GIS. There is a lot of support from the governments of Andhra Pradesh State and Pondicherry for this project. |
